This year’s celebrity Chefs include:
CHEF ROSHNI GURNANI | A culinary school of Canada Graduate, Chef Roshni Gurnani was Chopped Champion on the hit food network show Chopped and a top contestant on the Fox TV show Hell’s Kitchen with Gordon Ramsay and is a former champion of the Silver Spoon Award for Best Taste at the 2014 Horseshoe Bay Resort Wine and Dine Festival.
CHEF JANELLE REYNOLDS | from Leander TX, chef Janelle Reynolds is a former “Chopped” champion who beat out three New York City chefs to win the weekly $10,000 prize on the popular show. She met her husband Jayson in 2004 at Le Cordon Bleu Culinary School in Austin (now called Le Cordon Bleu College of Culinary Arts in Austin) and together formed @t Large, a personal chef services company that provides concierge-style, restaurant quality food and service in their clients homes. The husband wife duo also teams up for larger scale events and believes in making simple and delicious food that allows ingredients to speak for themselves.
CHEF ALAIN LEMAIRE | Alain Lemaire is an award winning chef from South Florida. He is the Co-owner and Executive Chef of both Sensory Delights, LLC, out of South Florida and Arome Catering, out of Pétion-Ville, Haiti, both full service catering companies. Alain Lemaire is a native of Port-au-Prince, Haiti, where he first discovered his interest in cooking. Chef Alain is a graduate of Johnson and Wales University. , Caribbean and Latin flavors play a major role in Alain’s style of cooking: “fresh, bold and in your face!” as he would say it. Chef Alain was a finalist on Food Network’s acclaimed cooking competition Cutthroat Kitchen. Chef Alain has been a featured chef at the South Beach Wine & Food Festival, Houston’s Caribbean Rum Festival, Haiti’s Food & Beverage Festival, Dania Beach Seafood Festival, Boca Raton Wine & Food Festival, Colors of the Caribbean and many more.
EXECUTIVE CHEF JAY HUNTER | Horseshoe Bay Resort Executive Chef Jay Hunter’s career highlights include similar roles at the world-renowned Pinehurst Golf Resort and Spa, the Orchid at Mauna Lai in Hawaii, opening of the Onmi Rosen Centre, a 1350 AAA Four-Diamond property, located in Orlando, Florida, the Arizona Grand Resort in Phoenix, Arizona, and the historic Four-Diamond Wigwam Resort. His travels have certainly led Chef to his defining style and enthusiasm for his creations at Horseshoe Bay Resort.
