21st Annual Turkey Trot and Fall Festival

Come out and celebrate 21 years of Thanksgiving tradition at the 2017 Horseshoe Bay Resort Turkey Trot and 2nd annual “Rock the Flock” Pet parade. Get a jump start on burning those holiday calories with a 10k Run or 5k Run/Walk while kids ages 3-8 can rock the 1k Kids Trot. Leashed dogs. wheelchairs, wagons and running strollers welcome on 5k route.

After the race, fall into the holidays at our annual Family Fall Festival. Celebrate with hayrides, pie walks, musical hay bales, face painting, arts & crafts and much more! Carnival treats available at an additional cost. For overnight guests of the resort and Club Members only.

Post Race Festivities
Enjoy post-race refreshments, runners lounge with free massage and quality awards on race day.  Racers also have access to all Fall Festival attractions.

Rock the Flock Parade | 9:15AM
Parade your best dressed fur friends along the boulevard and help us support a local animal shelter in the community and pets at home.  A portion of the race proceeds will be used to provide these pets the extra attention and care they deserve.   Award will be given for the best dressed fur friend!

Fall Festival | 8AM-11AM
Joins us for some fall fun during or after the race!  Celebrate with a pie walk, musical hay bales, a corn pit, face painting, mechanical bull, cotton candy, popcorn, arts & crafts, inflatable fun and much more!  Fun the whole family will enjoy.  Carnival treats available at an additional cost.
